A family-run kitchen on Broad Street, Padstow. Honest food, proper Cornish hospitality, and produce from right on the doorstep.
Our story
Chef Tom Hine grew up here in Padstow. He cooked his way through some of the South West's finest kitchens — Lympstone Manor, the Seren Collection's Coast and Penmaenuchaf among them — then came home to open a place of his own.
He runs the kitchen alongside his brothers; his cousins look after you out front. By day it's an easy, welcoming cafe — breakfast, brunch and proper Cornish coffee. In the evening, it's tasting menus and small plates — a short, changing line-up built around whatever's best that week.
Just about everything is sourced within shouting distance — right down to lobster landed fresh off the Cornish coast. PL28 is Padstow's postcode, and the food, the people and the welcome are all from right here.
